Donor Privacy Policy
We care about donor information and safety.
Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse respects the privacy of its donors. Therefore, the organization will not rent, share or sell personal information about its donors.
Emerge collects its donors names, addresses, e-mails, telephone numbers and other contact information for the purpose of providing news, thank you letters, tax information, invitations to Emerge events and additional solicitations for funding. Emerge also collects and maintains information about people’s preferences for being contacted, and notes about their involvement/giving preferences for Emerge. This information is stored for the purpose of honoring people’s giving preference/service to the organization.
If an error is found in your contact information/giving history through our communications with you, please contact the development department at Emerge at 520.795.8001 to request a change or correction.
Emerge will occasionally publish lists of our donors (names only) for recognition purposes. If you wish for your gift to remain anonymous, please make sure to check the box: “please do not publicly recognize my gift” on our gift remittance cards.
The donation processing system on our website is administered by a third-party, Blackbaud Merchant Services. This third-party is bound by our confidentiality policies and will also not share, sell or rent your personal information. Processing our donations through their online system allows Emerge to provide optimum safety and security to our donors who prefer to process their gifts online.
